Lollapalooza 2023 kicked off on a huge note for the very first time in Mumbai. Several big names were attached to the event, like The Yellow Diary, Japanese Breakfast, and AP Dhillon among others. The first night’s headliners were Imagine Dragons who closed the show with one and half hour set. The festival is promoted and co-produced by Indian ticketing platform and entertainment company BookMyShow, along with global producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents, which is owned by Live Nation. Imagine Dragons is an American pop-rock band which consists of lead singer Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.

Kicking off their first-ever performance in India, Imagine Dragons were met with a massive crowd, cheers, claps and lots of screaming. They crooned many of their hits including ‘Believer’, ‘Whatever It Takes’, ‘Thunder’, ‘Demons’, ‘Bad Liar’, ‘Bones’, and closed the show at 10 pm with ‘Radioactive’ creating a roaring chant amongst the audience.
Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of the band, went shirtless after the third song and remain so showing off his ab-tastic physique. Doing the most fan service as possible, he would get down from the stage to meet the audience from all the corners as he stood beside them and sang the songs. It was an enthralling night proving how Imagine Dragons had a big audience to enjoy their music.
Lollapalooza Day 2 will begin on Sunday with huge names like Jackson Wang, Diplo, Divine, and Prateek Kuhad among others.
