It’s been 10 years since Akshay Kumar starrer Special 26 was released in theatres. Anupam Kher tweeted about Neeraj Pandey’s Special 26 completing a decade. Akshay responded to it that he is ready for a sequel if the script is ready.

In Hindi, Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter, “आज हमारी फ़िल्म #Special26 को रिलीज़ हुए 10 साल हो गये।मैंने हमारे होनहार डायरेक्टर @neerajpofficial से कितनी बार कहा कि वो इसका Part-2 बनाये।पर.. ????! अब आप ही बताए #10yearsOfSpecial26 ka Sequel बनना चाहिये कि नहीं? ???? @akshaykumar (“Today marks 10 years of our film #Special26 release. Special 26, helmed by Neeraj Pandey, is a fact-based crime drama where a gang of con artists posing as government officials executes a heist in the form of a raid on a prominent jeweller.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of Selfiee. The film is helmed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions. Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time which has also increased the buzz for the film. It is all set to release in the theatres on February 24, 2023.
