Women in the Digital Economy Fund is inviting local Indian entities to apply for funding to scale impactful solutions that enhance women’s digital inclusion, improving their livelihoods, economic security, and resilience.
This funding opportunity is open to small and medium for-profit entities as well as non-profits with a valid FCRA.
📌 Key Objectives:
1. Drive digital inclusion through accessible technology like smartphones and the internet.
2. Close the gender digital divide effectively.
3. Develop solutions that are economically sustainable and scalable.
📌 Focus Areas:
1. Applicants must address at least two of these priorities:
2. Access to Affordable Devices
3. Relevant Products and Tools for income generation
4. Digital Literacy and Skills for safe digital participation
5. Safety and Security to counter technology-based gender violence
📌 Funding Support:
💰 Funding range: $100,000 – $500,000
🕒 Timeline: 15-18 months
📌 Application Timeline:
Applications Open: November 12, 2024
Deadline: January 13, 2025 (6 PM IST)
Shortlisting: March 2025
Final Selection: July 2025
