Kaushal portrays the role of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It is adapted from the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
2. ‘Alpha’ (December 25, Theatres)
YRF has expanded its spy universe to release its first ever female-led spy action movie. Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in crucial roles, Alpha follows two fierce agents tackling dangerous missions featuring thrilling stunts and action scenes.
3. ‘Deva’ (February 14, Theatres)
Shahid Kapoor’s Deva is slated for a Valentine’s Day release in 2025. Pooja Hegde also stars in this gripping cop drama. It revolves around a rebellious police officer navigating a dangerous and complex web of lies and deceit.
4. ‘Sky Force’ (January 24, Theatres)
The makers of Sky Force announced the release of the movie with its poster and the caption: “A heartfelt salute from Team Sky Force on Armed Forces Flag Day to the Heroes who inspire, protect, and serve.” scheduled for a January release, this movie features Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, and Veer Pahariya.
5. ‘Lahore 1947’ (January 31, Theatres)
Produced by Aamir Khan, Lahore 1947 is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal, and Shabana Azmi. It is based on Asghar Wajahat’s play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Ni (One Who Has Not Seen Lahore Has Not Been Born). The movie is set against the backdrop of the partition of India in 1947.
6. ‘Sikander’ (Eid 2025, Theatres)
Starring Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Sharman Joshi, Sikander is helmed by AR Murugadoss. Scheduled for an Eid release, this movie marks Salman Khan’s grand return to the big screen via a thrilling action-entertainer.
7. ‘Thama’ (Diwali 2025, Theatres)

Father-son duo Varun Dhawanand David Dhawan will be collaborating for their upcoming movie in 2025, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The cast will also include Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Maniesh Paul. The romantic comedy is touted to be a fun-filled family entertainer.
9. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ (April 10, Theatres)
Starring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao, the Jolly LLB universe is about to get one more addition in 2025. It is the sequel to the 2017 film Jolly LLB 2. The third part will be an even more intense and hilarious courtroom drama between two Jollys.
