20th Century Girl star Byeon Woo Seok and SKY Castle actor Kim Hye Yoon in talks for new rom-com drama Time to Walk through Memories

South Korean actors Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon are currently in talks to headline new time-travel romcom series Time to Walk through Memories (literal translation).

According to Zap Zee tabloid, the new web-novel based drama tells the story of a devoted fan who travels back in time to 2008 to save her favorite celebrity, Ryu Seon Jae, from a tragic fate that led him to his death.

Byeon Woo Seok has been offered the role of Ryu Seon Jae, a swimmer who’s also a popular band vocalist-turned-actor. Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon was offered the leading role of Lim Sol, who gave up on her dreams of becoming a film director after suffering a leg injury.

As per the outlet, on March 28, both actors’ agencies confirmed that they’re positively reviewing the offer to lead the new drama, which comes from director Boo Sung Cheol who previously worked on The Heirs, My Girlfriend is Gumiho, among others. The screenplay is written by Lee Si Eun of Top Star Yoo Baek and High Kick! 3.

Time to Walk through Memories is planning to start production in April.
