South Korean singer-actor Ok Taecyeon, member of pop band 2PM, has officially signed with an American talent management label WME. According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, on February27, Taecyeon’s agency 51K revealed that the actor signed with U.S. talent agency WME (William Morris Endeavor).

The agency shared, “We are happy that Taecyeon, who has been expanding his reach as an actor thorough various projects including Vincenzo, Hansan: Rising Dragon, Blind, and more, signed a formal agent contract with WME, one of the representative agencies in the United States. Please continue to cheer on Taecyeon’s activities in the future.”
Meanwhile, Taecyeon also added, “I’m excited and happy to take on a new challenge. I talked a lot with the local agency. Although it will not be easy to take on a new challenge in an unfamiliar environment, I think it is a good opportunity to learn a lot.” He added, “I will work hard to show another side of me as well as new charms of Ok Taecyeon on a broader stage.”
WME is already home to multiple high-profile Hollywood celebrities including director Quentin Tarantino, director Ridley Scott, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Holland, Michael B. Jordan as well as South Korean directors Park Chan Wook, Bong Joon Ho, and actress Bae Doona.
Meanwhile on the work front, Ok Taecyeon is currently gearing up to star in KBS2’s upcoming vampire drama My Heart Is Beating (literal title), starring opposite Won Ji An.
