Selfiee has taken a shocker of a start in the Friday (1st Day) morning shows. As early samples are coming in the occupancy for the morning shows is extremely poor. Honestly, the film is simply a non-starter.
Selfiee has opened to 5-7% occupancy in the morning shows. Samples are from multiplexes only. Occupancy is extremely low and the film has even failed to manage a double-digit opening.
Yes, advance booking for day 1 was poor but despite that everyone was expecting decent spot booking. But even that was missing as far as morning shows are concerned. We simply hope that the trend change from noon shows onwards and film shows good growth in occupancy.
Selfiee needs to pick up the pace to have a decent opening day. Word of mouth will also be important for the film now and we simply hope that it is on the positive side. As far as critic’s reports are concerned it is mostly mixed.
