The Batman: Part II will officially begin production later this year in November 2023! Franchise executive producer Michael Uslan recently confirmed the news that the sequel will begin shooting on November 23 this year.
Robert Pattinson’s The Batman: Part II to begin production in November 2023
Uslan shared the announcement on his Instagram on March 7 along with a promotional image from the first movie. “The Batman, Part 2 commences production 11/23!,” he captioned the post.
Directed by Matt Reeves, who helmed the first movie, the sequel will see Robert Pattinson suit up again to protect the streets of Gotham City. Besides directing, Reeves co-wrote the script alongside his creative partner Mattson Tomlin.
Original stars Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Jeffrey Wright (Jim Gordon, and Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth) are also likely to return in their respective roles along with Barry Keoghan (Joker) and Colin Farrell (Penguin).
Meanwhile, Colin Farrell’s The Penguin spin-off series is also in early stages of production right now. A release date is yet to be announced for the series. The Batman – Part II will debut in theaters on October 3, 2025.
