Actor-director, Satish Chandra Kaushik passed away on March 9, 2023, and his death shocked the Hindi film industry. Actor-director, Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66
As per the media reports, Satish Kaushik suffered a heart attack and died on his way to the hospital. The late actor was 66 years old at the time of his demise, and his sudden death has sent shockwaves all across the country. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Needless to say, Satish Kaushik will be missed immensely by the film fraternity and his millions of fans.

Anupam Kher expresses his grief after losing his friend, Satish Kaushik
A few moments back, taking to his Twitter handle, Anupam Kher expressed his grief after losing his beloved friend, Satish Kaushik. He shared a monochrome picture with the late actor, in which the duo was seen smiling for the lens. Expressing his condolences, Anupam Kher also penned an emotional note in Hindi, which can be read as:
“I know that death is the ultimate truth of this world! But I had not thought even in my wildest dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend someday. Such a sudden full stop to a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH!”
Kangana Ranaut mourns Satish Kaushik’s death
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut also took to her Twitter handle and shared a heartfelt post. Sharing a candid picture with the late actor, Kangana expressed her condolences over his demise. Her tweet can be read as:
“Woke up to this horrible news. He was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director Satish Kaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man. I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.”

Satish Kaushik’s career
Born on April 13, 1965, Satish Kaushik was an Indian actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He used to act in theatres before finding his break in Bollywood. Satish Kaushik was well-known for his roles as ‘Calendar’ in the film, Mr India, ‘Pappu Pager’ in Deewana Mastana, and ‘Chanu Ahmed’ in the British film, Brick Lane. Over the years, he went on to play many lead roles in hit films, and his contribution to the Indian film industry is impressive.
