Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has taken a SOLID start at the box office on opening day. The film started slowly in the first half of the day but picked up pace rapidly in the second half and registered good occupancy for evening and night shows.
TJMM collected 15.7 cr NBOC approx on Day 1 (Wednesday). Box office numbers are pretty good considering many cinema halls were closed in the first half of the day. However, considering it was the Holi holiday and released on nearly 4000 screens numbers could have been higher also. Nevertheless, the start is solid, and hope that the film stays strong on Thursday now.
TJMM’s first day occupancy was around 25-30% approx. Occupancy was low till the evening shows. But it got a big boost in evening and night shows where occupancy reported around 45-50% approx.
Tu Jhooti Mai Makkar may see some drop on Thursday as it is a normal working day. A big drop will be alarming though. Friday collections should remain steady and then the film will be a boost in business on Saturday and Sunday.
