Following the release of official trailer, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have released the first poster for the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and it teases another daring stunt from Tom Cruise!

Previous installments of the series have seen franchise star perform some mind-blowing feats like free climbing, hanging off the edge of a plane, hanging off the edge of the world’s tallest building, jumping out of a plane at 25,000 feet over 100 times, and many more.
Now, this new poster gives fans a glimpse of some crazy action to come with Ethan Hunt soaring to new heights, in terms of stunts. The new poster teases a shot of Cruise freefalling against a mountainous landscape, chasing after a motorcycle. The previous teaser trailer shared by the makers also showed Cruise running on the top of a moving train.

The film is touted to be one of Cruise’s most dangerous films, featuring some of the most daring stunts. In a featurette shared by Paramount, the production crew detailed the scene where Cruise drives himself off a cliff in a motorbike, describing it as “the biggest stunt in cinema history”.
“This is far and away the most dangerous thing we have ever attempted,” Cruise says in the clip before explaining the behind-the-scene setup for the particular stunt where he has exactly six seconds to open his parachute before he dies. The scene has reportedly been planned for several years.
Directed by McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One stars Cruise alongside Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff and Henry Czerny. Meanwhile, Mission Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two is slated for a release on June 28, 2024.
Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One arrives in theaters on July 14, 2023.
