K-pop group aespa to drop new song for Taron Egerton’s upcoming film Tetris

South Korean female pop group aespa will release a new song for Taron Egerton’s upcoming film Tetris which had its premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 15.

According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, Tetris is a new film based on the real-life story of the heated battle over the distribution rights to the iconic 1980’s puzzle game. As the outlet shares, the film will feature a new song titled ‘Hold On Tight’ by aespa, which will be released digitally on March 31.

Tetris is a 2023 biographical drama film directed by Jon S. Baird from a screenplay written by Noah Pink. It features other songs by Aaron Hibell, ReN, Pet Shop Boys, Europe, Polina as well.

The film stars Taron Egerton and Toby Jones and premiered at the SXSW Film Festival on March 15, 2023. It will be available to stream on Apple TV+ on March 31, 2023. The Tetris film’s soundtrack is expected to arrive digitally on 31 March, the same day as the film release.
