Bholaa has taken a slow opening at the box office on the opening day (Thursday). The opening is underwhelming in the morning shows and the film needs to pick up the pace if it wants to have a decent first-day total.

Bhola has open to 10-12% occupancy in the morning shows. Ideally, the film needed an opening of 15-20% at least. It means the film is underperforming in the morning shows. Samples are from multiplexes only and single-screen reports are awaited. Hopefully, the film takes a better start there.

Bholaa is released on 3700 screens approx across India. Hence, even a decent occupancy for the day will take the film to a respectable position. However, for having a decent occupancy also, the film needs to do much better in the latter half of the day.

Bholaa is carrying a significant budget and hence a decent box office total is a must. A 13-14 cr nett opening will be a decent start to its box office campaign considering the film is releasing mid-week. A 15 cr plus will be a good start. However, if the film fails to touch the double-digit score then it will be a bit of a shocker considering its face value.

Bhola Thursday (Day 1) Morning Shows Occupancy – 10-12% approx
