South Korean juggernaut group BTS’ Jungkook is building a luxurious home in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Seoul! The singer demolished a 7.6 billion KRW worth building to build a lavish 5-story mansion in Seoul’s richest neighborhood.

According to Allkpop, Jungkook previously purchased a detached urban home in this neighborhood in 2020 for 7.6 billion KRW (over 5.76 million US dollars). In July 2022, Yongsan approved a construction permit for this property, and the existing home was soon demolished.

As the report shares, construction is currently underway for a new, detached luxury home with its total floor area at 1161.04㎡, total land area at 633.05㎡, and total building area at 348.05㎡. The home will consist of 2 below ground levels and 3 above ground levels. The home is expected to be completed in May 31, 2024.

Yongsan Gu’s Itaewon Dong is home to several major business figures, such as the chairmen of SK Group, Shinsegae Group, Nong Shim Group, Hyundai Motor Group and more.

Meanwhile, on the music front, BTS members are working on solo ventures after halting group activities last year. Three members have released solo albums till now while others are prepping for the same. Jungkook was also recently announced as the new global brand ambassador for the luxury brand Calvin Klein.
