Marathi Actress, Shweta Mahadik Recreated Gigi Hadid’s Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla Saree At Low Budget

Marathi actress, Shweta Mahadik left everyone’s jaw dropped when she recreated International superstar, Gigi Hadid’s saree look. Not only the saree, Shweta DIYed Gigi Hadid’s bejewelled blouse as well. However, another highlight of her look was the statement gold bangles that made her look complete. For the unversed, Gigi Hadid had picked ace designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s chikankari outfit.

Shweta is a DIYer, she loves recreating things out of scratch. Recently, she decided to recreate the super expensive saree, which Gigi Hadid wore for the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre. She shared a complete video of the process on her IG handle. In the clip, Shweta was seen finding a perfect fabric that matches Gigi Hadid’s chikankari saree. She also found a golden cloth for recreating a bejewelled blouse, which Gigi wore.

Further in the video, Shweta was seen stitching every bead and sequin to the blouse, and it looked exactly like the designer version. She also added tassels on the sleeves. Subtle makeup and beaded statement bangles completed her look.

Sharing the video on her IG handle, Shweta called it one of the most difficult projects. And we totally agree, she did an amazing job by replicating the legendary designers’ work.

Gigi Hadid’s Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla saree for the launch of the NMACC

For the grand launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre, Gigi Hadid picked a stunning ensemble from ace designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She looked ethereal in a cropped-sleeve jacket blouse teamed with a chikankari skirt and a matching chikankari drape. Her outfit was hand-embroidered by female artisans at Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla atelier in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
