The Kerala Story is all set to emerge as a SMASH HIT at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. The film is outperforming all trade expectations so far and is heading towards an excellent Friday now.
The film opened with 25-30% occupancy in the morning shows. The film picked up further from noon and registered 30-35% occupancy. The film has picked up further from evening onwards and as of the latest, reporting 45% occupancy. This is huge considering a film with such face value, production value, and budget.
The early trend suggests TKS First Day Box Office Collection is heading towards the 7 (+/-) cr nett mark. If the film continues to outperform at the box office in the remaining night shows then the collection can push towards 7.5 cr nett or beyond. Kindly note that these are early estimates from limited samples and the actuals may vary.
The opening has ensured that the film will emerge as a CLEAN HIT in the worst-case scenario. If the film continues to do well on Day 2 (Saturday) and beyond then it can even emerge as a Super HIT or even a Blockbuster. Predicting lifetime collection is difficult at this moment and 1st Monday will give us a clear picture.
