Godzilla x Kong has made an excellent start at the Indian Box Office, collecting approximately ₹14.5 crore net on Friday. The film benefitted from the Good Friday holiday, further boosting its collection. With a solid occupancy rate of around 25-30% on Day 1, the film has shown promising performance.
Overall, the film is now poised for a super strong first weekend in India. While there might be a drop in numbers on Saturday, as it’s challenging to sustain such high figures, the film is expected to witness growth again on Sunday. A ₹45 crore Net Box Office Collection (NBOC) for the opening weekend seems very much achievable now.
