“Ulajh” showed a 40-50% growth on Saturday, which is a decent trend. However, the problem is that the film started poorly on Friday, so Day 2 collections were still low. Had the film shown a big jump of, say, 70-80% or more, it would have had a chance. Now, it needs a miraculous trend from here on to survive at the box office. The only consolation is that the film is trending better than the other release, “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,” and may cross its collection in its theatrical run in India.
“Ulajh” collected approximately ₹1.75 crore net on Saturday, as per estimates. Thus, the film’s two-day total stands at around ₹3 crore net. It should touch the ₹5 crore net mark by the end of the first weekend.
