Many times, former Bigg Boss OTT contestant and internet sensation Uorfi Javed has been called the granddaughter of renowned poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar because the term “Javed” is common in their names. Recently, Uorfi bumped into “legend” Javed Akhtar and shared the details of their meeting.
Uorfi Javed FINALLY meets Javed Akhtar; says, “I’m in awe”
Taking to her verified social media handle, Uorfi shared an image of herself posing with Javed Akhtar on a flight. Captioning the photo, shared on her Instagram story section, Uorfi wrote, “Finally met my grandfather today.”
The 25-year-old fashion enthusiast further added, “Also, he is a legend. Right in the morning, so many people lined up for selfies but he didn’t refuse anyone. Chatted with everyone with a smile. He was so warm! I’m in awe,” followed by a red-heart emoticon.
Later, the Daayan actress also spoke about her brief meeting with Akhtar. She revealed that she jokingly told Javed Akhtar ‘aapko pata haina property ke teen hisse hone waale hai (you know that your property will be divided between three now).”
Besides this, Uorfi made headlines in the past few days after politician Chitra Wagh filed a police complaint against her over her dressing sense. Post news broke, Uorfi was spotted wearing woollen clothes, and a section of netizens called it the aftermath of the police complaint. However, Urfi broke the silence about why she chose to wear such outfits. In a series of Instagram stories, Uorfi stated, “I am allergic to clothes.”
In the first story, Uorfi shared a photo of her legs, filled with moles, and asked, “anyone gets these allergies in winters?” with options of Yes and No. In the next story, she shared a video of her legs and captioned it, “I am literally allergic to clothes.” Later, she posted a video in which she said, “So now you guys know right that why I don’t wear clothes. I have this serious condition. My body starts reacting after wearing clothes. The proof is there. So that’s why main itna nangi rehti hoon (So that’s why I prefer being nude).”
