Drishyam 2 is leading the screen count fight despite facing a new release in An Action Hero and stiff opposition in Bhediya. This is simply insane as the film is into the third week now and there simply seems no stopping. Don’t be surprised if Drishyam 2 does some crazy business in the third weekend.
Drishyam 2 has managed to retain 2100 screens across India. This is absolutely fantastic as the film has now the potential to do big business, especially on Saturday and Sunday. The film has already crossed the 150 crore nett mark and is now targeting 200 cr NBOC. If the film shows exceptional trending on Friday, Saturday and Sunday then the film can go very close to that double-century mark.
Bhediya’s screening is reduced significantly in the second week. The film has retained around 1300-1400 screens which is reduced from the first week but not at all bad. The film can still do good business if it registers good occupancy. The problem is that. The film failed to see the expected occupancy in the first week and the story might be the same for week two.
An Action Hero is the new release of the week and the film has got around 1300 screens across India. Screening is a bit limited but the film can still do good business with good occupancy. However, the buzz of the film is very low at the ground level and reports have to be positive if it aims to have a decent first weekend.

Drishyam (Week 3) -> 2100 approx
Bhediya (Week 2) -> 1300-1400 approx
