When Emraan Hashmi had called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ‘plastic’

In the fourth season of Koffee with Karan, Emraan Hashmi termed Aishwarya ‘plastic’. His comment shocked Aishwarya, and it had ripple effects on his career. The actor made sure to apologise to her. He had gone out of his way to apologise to her.

In a media interaction, Emraan had shared that he never meant it. He is a fan of Aishwarya, and that was the format of the show. He also said he took her name to win the round and the hamper. However, it was the media and audience, who made a big deal out of it.

But Aishwarya never forgave Emraan. Zoom had reported that she had refused to sign a film because it was attached to Emraan. In a 2019 interview with Filmfare, she shared that the worst thing anyone had said about her was that she was ‘fake and plastic’.

On the work front, Emraan will be next seen in the film, Tiger 3.
