Pathaan has touched and crossed the elusive 2 cr footfalls (number of people who visited cinema halls) in India. This is some record as no film other than KGF 2 has managed to get so many footfalls post-pandemic times. And the good part is that Pathaan is simply not stopping here. There is more to come.
Pathaan reached the 2 crore footfall mark on Day 9. The second weekend is still to come and a huge number of people are still to come to the theaters. Pathaan is surely set to touch and go beyond 2.5 cr footfalls in India. This is achieved only by a few films in the last decade.
As far as 3 crore footfalls are concerned it is too early to make a guess. Tiger Zinda Hai was the last Bollywood film that achieved 3 cr footfalls and that happened 6 years back in the year 2017. No other Bollywood film has managed to get near that mark. Hopefully, Pathan will continue its dream run at the box office and not only touches 3 cr footfall but even go beyond that. The great news is that the film has retained most of its screen for week 2 and there is literally no opposition as such for another two weeks.
