South Korean actors Yoo Yeon Seok, Lee Sung Min and Lee Jung Eun are confirmed to star in webtoon-based thriller drama Unlucky Day (literal title).

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, TVING’s original series follows taxi driver Oh Taek who picks up a high-paying customer headed to Mokpo and finds out on the way that he is a serial killer.
Yoo Yeon Seok, who previously starred in hit drama Hospital Playlist and its season 2, will star as serial killer Geum Hyuk Soo who uses the taxi driver to leave for Mokpo after committing murder.
Reborn Rich actor Lee Sung Min will take on the role of the taxi driver who is offered 1 million won for doing the job of dropping Geum Hyuk Soo at Mokpo. As he had a dream about the lucky pig (symbolizing wealth in dreams) the same day, he agrees to the job.
Meanwhile, Our Blues and Juvenile Justice actress Lee Jung Eun will transform into Hwang Soon Gyu, a mother on the hunt for Geum Hyuk Soo, the person who murdered her son.
Unlucky Day will be helmed by Pil Gam Sung who previously worked on the film Hostage. The thriller drama is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2023.
