On December 24, 2022, the whole nation was shocked to hear about the unfortunate passing away of television actress, Tunisha Sharma. For the unversed, the popular actress died by suicide at the mere age of 20 years. She was reportedly found hanging at the vanity van of her co-star, Sheezan Khan, from the show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. However, post her demise; things turned ugly when the late actress’ mother accused Sheezan in an abetment to suicide case for her daughter. Ever since the actor has been kept under arrest, and the investigations for the case have been going on.
Sheezan Khan’s bail plea rejected
Sheezan Khan was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide on December 24, 2022, post which he was kept in judicial custody for 14 days. However, his lawyer, Shailendra Singh, had applied for a bail plea, as the actor had instead served custody for more than 15 days already. However, the bail plea, scheduled to be heard on January 7, 2023, has now come against the actor, as his plea has been rejected. An official statement by the Vasai court in Mumbai can be read as:
“Tunisha Sharma death case: Actor Sheezan Khan’s bail plea adjourned by Vasai court, next date of hearing 9th January.”

When police had retrieved Sheezan Khan’s deleted WhatsApp chats
As the suicide case of Tunisha Sharma has been doing rounds for a long time now, a new report by the police on January 6, 2023, reported that the deleted WhatsApp chats of the prime accused, Sheezan Khan, had been retrieved. These chats were speculated to have been with another girl, whom Sheezan cheated with, while being in a relationship with late Tunisha Sharma. The ongoing probe also revealed that not one but many other chats with Sheezan’s secret girlfriends had been retrieved so far. The report can be read as:
“Many important chats have been found on the mobile of the accused, during the investigation which has revealed that the accused started avoiding Tunisha after the breakup. Tunisha used to message him repeatedly, but the accused avoided her by not replying to her.”
When Sheezan’s family broke silence on relationship between Tunisha and Sheezan
On January 2, 2023, Sheezan Khan’s family had held a press conference to discuss and bring out the true facts about the ongoing probe of Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case. This step was in response to the accusations levied by Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma on Sheezan. During the press conference, Sheezan Khan’s sisters, Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz revealed that the duo did have a relationship, however, contrary to all the buzz, the couple had parted ways amicably and on a good note.

When Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma blamed Sheezan Khan for her daughter’s death
On December 30, 2022, late Tunisha Sharma’s mother, Vanita Sharma and her uncle, Pawan Sharma had organised a press conference and had revealed that Sheezan Khan had slapped Tunisha, on the very day of their breakup. She further accused Sheezan of forcing her daughter to get converted to Islam.
