Starting his career on TV to leave a mark on the audience with his performances on the big screen, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was no less than an inspiration for aspiring actors. However, his death left many of his friends and fans heartbroken. One of them was his Kai Po Che co-star Amit Sadh. Recently, he revealed that post the death of SSR, he wanted to quit Bollywood.

It all happened during his conversation with popular Indian author Chetan Bhagat. Amit, who marked his debut alongside Sushant with Kai Po Che, recalled how they had shot the film for a year and a half and become friends with the late actor. He also commented on Sushant’s demise in the podcast.
He asserted, “I know the psyche of that person. When someone dies by suicide it means that there is complete darkness in their life. When this happens, it is not the person’s fault, but it is society’s fault. The people who were around that person are the ones who are at fault because the person has become so hopeless at that point that he does not care about anything else… I have felt the same way before too when it seems that there is no one and that they have nothing.”
When the author asked the Bollywood actor to elaborate further on why he wanted to quit showbiz, Sadh replied by saying, “Chid gaya tha mai. Bada tough hai yeh industry (I was feeling annoyed. This industry is very tough).”
A few days back, actor Vivek Oberoi had also commented on the MS Dhoni actor’s suicide and stated that he relates to the late actor. While recalling times when he had dark and negative thoughts, Vivek added that he wanted to ‘end things’.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020. The CBI continues to investigate his death. However, no closure report has been filed in the matter, so far.
