An Action Hero showed a good jump on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office. Despite that collections are pretty low as the film opened to poor collections on opening Friday. Hence, even good growth is of no use. It only gives hope for the film for the days ahead.
An Action Hero collected 2.1 crore nett approx on day 2. The jump from day 1 is around 60% which is significant. That shows at least a good trend. If the film shows another big jump on Sunday and then Monday numbers stay above Friday then it has got a chance in the coming days.
An Action Hero two day total now stands at 3.45 crore nett approx. The film’s first weekend total is heading towards the 6-6.25 crore nett range. Ideally, the film needed the first-weekend business to be much higher than that may be in the 12-13 crore nett range or even more.
