In December last year, the sequel of Anurag Basu’s 2007 release, Life In a Metro, was announced. The ensemble star cast of the film, titled Metro: In Dino, will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. In fact, Anupam Kher has already started shooting for the film. Recently, he shared a video on his social media feed, in which director Anurag Basu can be seen cooking dosa for him.

In the video, Kher can be seen instructing everyone present on the set to maintain silence while Anurag Basu can be seen pouring dosa batter on a dosa stove. Kher described the process and even requested the camera operator to give a sneak peek of their set to his followers. A group of people gathered around them to watch the duo.
As Anurag added the remaining ingredients, Kher suggested adding some oil. However, despite several attempts, Kher couldn’t open the bottle and pour the oil. Later, Anurag added some butter to the egg dosa.
Upon serving the egg dosa to Kher, he asked everyone to applaud. They exchanged handshakes, and Kher joked with Anurag, saying, “Cast me in every one of your films,” which made Anurag chuckle. Anurag responded, “In every movie, I will serve you the dish I make,” to which Anupam replied, “100 per cent.” After taking a bite, Anupam expressed his admiration for the dish.
In the caption, Kher wrote, “Today’s latest news: Anurag Basu made egg dosa for Anupam Kher on the set of #MetroInDino. Watch… Learn… Eat… and Enjoy!! Anupam praised Anurag after eating egg dosa. He not only gave him a good role in the film but also served delicious dosa on the plate. Hahaha! Anything can happen. Long live Anurag Babu!!,” in Hindi.
Talking about the film, it is slated to release on December 8.
