Arjun Rampal was recently invited as a chief guest at a mass wedding event in Umeta, Baroda where as many as 67 couples were married off who belonged to the lesser privileged sections of the society. It was an initiative by Zaryaah Foundation. The actor was joined by veteran filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan with whom he has the upcoming film titled Three Monkeys in the pipeline.

Sharing his reaction on attending such an event, Arjun said in a statement, “Started the new year on a perfect note. 67 couples were married today, in Umeta, Vadodara. They comprise of orphans or families with members who are unemployed, who couldn’t afford a wedding for their daughters. A match is made. A groom found. Their marriages take place together with a great celebration. Congratulations to the newlyweds and wish them a great future together. Thanks to Mr. Allaharakha (Vohra), the whole team of Three Monkeys (and) the #zaryaahfoundation (for) a great initiative. Blessed to be a part of it.”
The foundation is known for catering to the health and educational requirements of the needy across communities. Apart from arranging mass weddings, they are also known for building temples and mosques.
As far as work is concerned, other than Three Monkeys, Arjun also has Crakk alongside Vidyut Jammwal, Applause Entertainment’s The Rapist with Konkana Sen Sharma and Ronnie Screwvala’s next. He was last seen in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad.
