If you loved the first season, Asur 2 is a must-watch because the sequel ties the loose ends that were left in the previous one. The questions that arose there were answered in the second installment. However, the end could be a little disappointing. The makers have kept it open-ended, leaving a chance for Season 3.

It was amazing to bring together mythology, darkness, and beliefs, but what this asur season 2 also does amazingly is spin Artificial Intelligence (AI) into it, and given the world we live in, it barely feels forced. If anything, things seem to get real because the debate at hand is now so much more than kali v’s kalki. As you move forward with each episode, there are questions you know you take along, with the ones that were left unanswered in asur season 1. However, as the mysteries unfold one after the other, it gets might interesting and how.

What goes in favour of Asur 2 is its pace and novelty, even though the approach has all the hokiness of a comic book and expects too much suspension of disbelief. If the viewer is willing to do that, then it is an entertaining watch. What it also gets right is that new wars for world domination will be fought through the control or misuse of information through the web.
