Avatar: The Way Of Water has taken a good start on the 2nd Friday (8th Day) morning shows. It means the film is now certain to rock big time and should put up a huge second weekend. Although the screenings are reduced for the film in the second week as Cirkus is released. But again Cirkus should have zero effect from Avatar 2.
Avatar 2 has opened to 15-20% occupancy in the morning shows of day 8. Occupancy is higher than both 1st Wednesday and 1st Thursday. However, screens and shows are reduced and hence there is a business drop.
Avatar 2 has collected 192 crore nett approx in the first week in India. The film has accumulated a staggering $ 610 million approx worldwide till the last report. As Christmas and New Year period still to come, film should do a huge business again at the box office be it in India or Globally.
