Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has had a slow start at the box office, despite it being a national holiday for Eid. It’s unfortunate news, but that’s how things are sometimes. However, there’s still hope that the film will pick up momentum as the day goes on, especially with family audiences likely to come out in numbers, potentially ending the day on a strong note. Nevertheless, the slow start means we shouldn’t expect a huge Day 1 total for the film.

As of now, BMCM has opened with an occupancy of 15-20% in morning shows. Considering today is a national holiday, the target should have been an opening of at least 25-30%, if not more. This is not surprising given the lack of buzz around the film. In most cases, a 15-20% opening would have been a decent start. Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan is carrying a huge budget, and anything less than a 25-30 crore opening on a national holiday would be a below-average start.

Even the pre-release content, such as songs, teasers, and trailers, was mediocre. Additionally, the promotional efforts by the makers were weird, with money spent on useless and worthless aspects. Nonetheless, that’s in the past, and hopefully, the film’s content is strong enough to boost its collections. Stay tuned for more updates as the day progresses.
