Best OTT releases that should be on your watchlist for the second week of February

1. ‘Farzi’ (Prime Video, 10 February)

One of the most-anticipated web series of the year, Farzi marks the OTT debut of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor. The plot of the thriller show—which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna and Kay Kay Menon—revolves around an artist who gets dragged into a high-stakes con job. The reviews are coming in and they look good.

2. ‘Salaam Venky’ (Zee5, 10 February)

The slice-of-life drama that marked Kajol’s comeback is a mother’s fight for her child’s right to die with dignity. Inspired by a true story, the film is ready for its digital premiere and you must add it to your watchlist for Kajol’s raw portrayal of a fighter mother that explains what makes her one of the finest in the industry.

3. ‘You’, Season 4 (Netflix, 9 February & 9 March)

The psychological thriller, starring Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, returns with another season in February and March. Split across two parts on Netflix, Part 1 premiered on 9 February and Part 2 will come out on 9 March. The theme of the show revolves around love, dangerous obsessions, stalking and murders, and we bet you will finish it in one sitting!

4. Thunivu (Netflix, 8 February)

Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu, which released on 8 February, is an action thriller revolving around a bank robbery with some high-energy dialogues and edgy twists and turns. “Super entertaining” is what most reviews termed it as. The female lead is Manju Warrier, a prominent figure in the Malayalam cinema industry, while Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veeran, Ajay, and GM Sundar play important roles in the film.

5. ‘Hansika’s Love, Shaadi, Drama’ (Disney + Hotstar, 10 February)

As the name suggests, the documentary will give a closer look into Hansika Motwani’s dreamy wedding and all that went behind the scenes. Hansika got married to Sohael Khaturiya on 4 December. The documentary also addresses the scandal that surfaced prior to her wedding, which threatened to derail her dream day.
