Beyonce lavishly returned to the stage after almost four years and made sure to make her comeback count – quite handsomely even if it was for just an hour! The music icon made a sensational return to the stage by headlining a private concert at the Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai. At the exclusive opening of Dubai’s grand hotel, Beyoncé performed a 19-song set including a duo with her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

The mother-daughter duo joined for a live performance of “Brown Skin Girl” from Beyonce’s soundtrack to Disney’s 2019 remake of The Lion King. For such a spectacular show, Beyoncé was paid a reported $35 million for the one-hour show, attended by more than 1000 people including celebrities and “special guests,” as noted in a press release, as noted by The Sydney Morning Herald.

According to Television presenter Sonia Kruger, as shared by Women’s Agenda, Beyoncé took her entire crew to Dubai. “She took 120 people with her, her crew. I guess the only talk about her fee. I think it was like 24 million US dollars, 35 million Australian dollars. But she’s got a huge crew and you know, she insists on of course and having all of her own sound and lighting and everything she does it all herself.”
The guest list to the secret special event included celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Jay-Z, Liam Payne, Black Panther star Letitia Wright, British boxer Amir Khan, Scott Cam, Rebel Wilson, Chloe and Halle Bailey and Nia Long. As the outlet notes, Beyoncé’s lavish return to the stage, was complete with fireworks, dance troupes and multiple outfit changes.
