Bholaa is heading towards an ‘ok’ to ‘decent’ first day at the box office as early estimates are coming in. The film is reporting low occupancy all through the day. However, there is some growth seen post afternoon. Evening and Night shows occupancy is better but again is below the mark.

Bholaa opened with 10-12% occupancy in the morning shows of Day 1. Film registered growth in the noon and reported 20% occupancy. The film has shown further jump from evening onwards and as per the latest reporting 28-30% occupancy. Overall first day occupancy stands at 20-22% approx till the last report is filled in.

As per the early trends, Bholaa Thursday (1st Day) Box Office Collection is heading towards the 9-10 (+/-) cr nett range. These are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary. If the film shows a further jump in the remaining night shows and performs better in the interiors (whose reports are awaited) then the film can touch the double-digit mark for the day or even go a little beyond that.

Thus, as per the early estimates for the first day, Bholaa has underperformed. Ideally, the film needed an opening of 12-14 cr NBOC approx on Day 1 and that means it will stay below a par score by 3-5 crores approx. However, the film can easily recover the ground in the coming weekend with a good trend.

Bholaa Occupancy Report for Thursday (Day 1) –

Morning – 10-12%

Noon – 20%

Evening-Night – 28-30%
