South Korean star Kim Woo Bin’s upcoming futuristic drama Black Knight at Netflix has dropped a new teaser and poster for the drama. As noted by Allkpop tabloid, Black Knight is a Netflix series depicting a dystopian future on the Korean peninsula, where people cannot live without oxygen due to extreme air pollution, and the legendary courier driver, 5-8, and the refugee, Sawol, confront the Chunmyeong Group that dominates the new world.

The outlet further sheds light on the characters by sharing, “Kim Woo Bin stars as the legendary courier driver 5-8, Song Seung Hun as Ryu Seok, the successor of the Cheonmyeong Group, Kang Yoo Seok as Sawol, a refugee who envies the 5-8, and Esom, who plays Seol Ah, a military intelligence officer.” The new poster shows deliveryman 5-8 in a respirator in a world covered with sand and pollution. The text on the poster reads, “A world where oxygen is regulated. The only hope that could destroy the world.”

The new clip features 5-8 as he describes what it takes to be a deliveryman. “We deliver the oxygen and necessities to keep people alive,” he says. “Deliverymen must be tough. For they must risk their lives to protect their trucks from hunters’ attacks. That is why people dream of becoming deliverymen.”

Black Knight is written and directed by Cho Ui Seok. Besides Kim Woo Bin, it also stars Esom and Kang Yoo Seok. Netflix’s new webtoon-based drama premieres on May 12. Watch the trailer below!
