The new season is set to film in May, with the show premiering in June on Star Network. This stellar season has an anticipated guest list for almost the entire industry and is expected on the chat show this season ready to “Spill the koffee!”. Celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi are expected to be a part of this season. The newlyweds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are likely to show up as a married couple on the show.
Currently, the director is shooting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
A source speaking to an Indian online entertainment website said,
“Karan is currently shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and it’s in May when he will wrap up a major chunk of the film. One calling it a schedule wrap, Karan will commence his work on his chat show, Koffee with Karan. The planning and pre-production have already begun. The team is now all ready to start shooting from mid-May.”
The show has always been credited as controversial with the last season, the sixth one, which aired back in 2019 with the episode of Hardip Pandya and KL Rahul surrounded in complete controversy. However, although being Koffee is highly controversial, it surely is one of the most entertaining things to watch on TV.
Also, Karan’s next directorial with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is scheduled to release during the 2023 Valentine’s Day week. His production ventures include Jugg Jugg Jeeyo, Liger, Brahmastra, Mr and Mrs Mahi, Govinda Naam Mera and Selfie among others along with some OTT platform projects.
