Chitrangda Singh reveals what she had texted Saif Ali Khan about Sara Ali Khan : Bollywood News

Bollywood actress Chitrangda Singh is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Gaslight starring alongside Sara Ali Khan. The two play opposing roles in the thriller. Sara plays Meesha, who has just returned home. She tries to solve the mystery of her father’s disappearance and suspects her stepmother, played by Chitrangda, of keeping something from her. Although Chitrangda and Sara are collaborating for the first time, Chitrangda had previously worked with Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan on the 2018 film Baazaar.

Chitrangda Singh reveals what she had texted Saif Ali Khan about Sara Ali Khan

Speaking about working with both Saif and Sara, Chitrangda told IANS, “It’s so strange that she [Sara Ali Khan] was doing her first film at that time when Saif Ali Khan and I were shooting for a film and now I am working with her.”

She revealed how she spoke highly about Sara to Saif. She said, “I messaged Saif saying how wonderful his daughter is and how happy I was to work with her. She is lovely and has great energy on set. I had a great time working with both of them.”

Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming psychological thriller Gaslight is produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd. and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment and directed by Pavan Kirpalani. The film releases on March 31, 2023. The mind-bending, edge-of-the-seat thriller, apart from Sara Ali Khan and Chitrangda Singh features Vikrant Massey, Akshay Oberoi, and Rahul Dev amongst others.

Chitrangda Singh made her acting debut with the critically acclaimed film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003. She gained further recognition for her roles in films like Desi Boyz, Inkaar, and Baazaar. Chitrangda is known for her performances in unconventional roles that have won her several awards.
