Cirkus has ended the year 2022 on a disastrous and sad note. So much is expected from the film. It was released during the Christmas and New Year Holiday periods. Plus, the film was directed by Rohit Shetty. Despite all those factors film is totally rejected by the audiences.
Cirkus collected a horrific 4.2 crore nett approx in the second weekend. Film total collection thus stands at the 33.5 crore nett mark. The way film is going downhill it looks like it will even struggle to touch the 40 crore nett mark. This is simply unbelievable.
Ideally, a 40 crore nett should have been touched in 2 or at most 3 days. Here it is struggling to touch that in its theatrical run in India. Such is the pathetic box office performance of the film.
Cirkus should go close to or touch 35 crore nett by the end of week two. As there is no big release till Pathaan, it may continue to collect at a very poor level and may touch 37-39 crore nett in its theatrical run in India.
