Cirkus is in free fall mode now as it is reporting poor occupancy. The story remains the same for Tuesday (5th day) as it has taken a low start in the morning shows. The film is totally rejected by the audiences and is now struggling to stay afloat.
Cirkus opened to 8-9% occupancy in the morning shows of day 5. For the same, Monday opening was 11% approx. It means a drop of around 20-25% is seen when only morning shows are considered. The drop is significant.
Cirkus added 23.5 crore nett approx till the end of day 4. Film’s first week business is trending towards a terrible 30 crore nett mark. It could remain below also if the film shows a bigger drop on weekdays. Film lifetime business will now struggle to even touch the 40 crore nett mark in India. Extremely disappointing stuff!
