DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE BOX OFFICE COLLECTION: INDIA
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is the biggest release of this week and easily one of the biggest releases of the year when considering only Hollywood films. The film garnered impressive advance bookings and, as anticipated, started with a bang in India during the morning shows. The film remained solid through the noon, with a reported 25% occupancy approx. Further growth is expected as the weekend approaches. Occupancy in the 3D version is better than in the 2D version, which was anticipated.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is on track to do a business of ₹15-20 crore net in India, or even more, based on the initial trend. This is fantastic news, indicating that the film will comfortably surpass the ₹50-60 crore net mark in its first weekend unless it receives negative word of mouth from audiences. Everything looks positive, and all eyes are on how the film performs in the latter half of the day.
