A fan recently described in detail about his brief encounter with Pathaan actress Deepika Padukone. The actress recently flew to Los Angeles, and hence, had even skipped the reception ceremony of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in Mumbai, which was attended by Ranveer Singh minus his wife. While a video of the actress making her way swiftly through the economy class of a Los Angeles flight went viral, a fan couldn’t stop appreciating the adoring way the actress met him and his mother after landing in LA.

In an Instagram post, the fan posted a selfie with the actress along with a long note describing his first meet with Deepika Padukone at the Los Angeles airport as he continued to appreciate her down-to-earth nature. “What an ending to a family trip. Many of you have been asking about this so here it goes. My mom went “that’s someone!” And I said yeah that someone is Deepika Padukone! Deepika started the convo and asked if we had a good flight,” read the note.
The fan continued, “I congratulated her on Pathaan and she said “that’s so sweet, thank you.” We said safe travels and she said “You as well, and it was nice to meet you.” Super friendly and extremely nice even with a quick interaction. Despite a 16 hour journey, she was so willing to meet with her fans. Exactly what you would imagine Queen Dee to be.”
Along with him, many other fans also joined the conversation and dropped comments on the post about how the actress has been sweet and friendly to them whenever she met them or their loved ones. “Deepika is a sweetheart. I met her right before she started shooting for Om Shanti Om. Me, my mom and her had a nice conversation on our flight. She sat right next to us in Economy. She had given us her phone number and address she had at the time. She’s such a down to earth and warm person,” recalled one of the fans. Yet another one added, “That’s soooooo nice ! 16 hours journey from india to where ? She’s amazing she also my met cousin in UK and she was super super nice with her and very friendly”.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in the record-breaking action entertainer Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Coming to her upcoming projects, the actress has an interesting lineup with films like Project K with Prabhas, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, among others in the pipeline.
