Drishyam 2 has shown a solid hold on the 4th Monday (25th Day) at the box office. The film has reported a drop of 35-40% from the 4th Friday and that is very much acceptable. Any drop which is less than 50% is touted as good and here it is much less than that.
Drishyam 2 collected 1.6 crore nett approx on day 25. The film has so far collected 15 crore nett approx in week four. Fourth week business is now trending towards an excellent 18.5-18.75 crore nett range.
Drishyam 2 should touch 214.5-215 crore nett approx by the end of week four. The film is almost certain to go past the 220 crore nett mark in India. The real test for the film will start on the 5th Friday when it has to battle it out with the storm named Avatar 2. If Drishyam 2 stands its own against the might of Avatar 2 and gets some decent screens then it can touch or even go beyond the 230 cr NBOC mark in India.
