Duty After School 2 teaser hints at students’ high stakes battle against alien invaders; watch

South Korean broadcasting network TVING has dropped a teaser trailer and poster for part 2 of its sci-fi drama Duty After School, based on a hit webtoon of the same name. According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, Duty After School 2 tells the story of high school students who are called upon to join the world’s first war against extraterrestrial forces.

The outlet further sheds light on the plot, “When mysterious alien spheres start invading the world, the Department of Defense offers college admission incentives to get the students to sign up for the reserved forces, and they soon become frontline fighters.”

In the new poster for the drama, platoon leader Lee Chun Ho (played by Shin Hyun Soo) and other characters can be seen in various states of turmoil and tension as they confront the indiscriminate attacks of alien spheres. In the new teaser trailer, the students are seen confronting a crisis as they come across an unfamiliar creature in a prison-like setting.
