A title like Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar is sure to make one curious about the film. Veteran actress Revathy, who plays the lead in the film along with the late Vikram Gokhale, told Bollywood Hungama in an exclusive conversation that it was the title that compelled her to listen to the narration by director Rajesh Bachchani.

“When he came to narrate the story, I liked the title so much that I decided to listen to the story and then I liked it,” she said. “There is a story in the title itself. When you see the film, you will know the reason for this title. We crossed various hurdles and made the film.”
Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar sees Revathy play Suraiya aka Suru. “Vikram Gokhale plays Jagjivan. They are a beautiful loving couple and the film is a beautiful love story between them. There is also something in the past that troubles them and how they get over it,” she added.
The film sees her character suffering from dementia. But Revathy wasn’t required to prepare much for her character. “There is really nothing much to prepare because I have seen women who have dementia,” she said. “I have also interacted with them. Suraiya is a very interesting character. She is a full of life and fire. Jagjivan is the one who keeps her calm. Very rarely people write a character like this. I enjoyed playing the role because I could run around and speak just about anything.”
The makers of Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar have come up with a unique strategy of releasing the songs of the film, which are available on Panorama Music, before the trailer. Talking about the music of the movie, Revathy added, “The music goes with the storyline. Songs are not there just for the sake of it. The music moves the story (ahead) and it goes with the characters, not just Jagjivan and Suru but also the character played by Prashanth (Gupta).”
