With KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara, Hombale films have set a new benchmark and now, they are all set to come up with another intriguing venture. The production house had earlier announced its association with South superstar Fahadh Faasil with Dhoomam. Now they have unveiled the first look of the film featuring the Bangalore Days actor along with actress Aparna Balamurali.
FIRST LOOK: Fahadh Faasil’s intense looks in Dhoomam poster trigger curiosity
Ever since the film has been announced with a mahurat shot, it has left the masses talking about it and to add to it, Hombale Films has released the first look of Dhoomam. The newly released intense poster features Fahadh Faasil with his mouth taped whereas Aparna Balamurali looks quite traumatized and scared. While the film’s details are yet to be revealed, the makers unveiled the first poster with the tagline, “There is no smoke without fire, here is the first spark.”
Directed by Pawan Kumar, Dhoomam marks the second announcement from Hombale Films into the Malayalam Film Industry, after the grand announcement of Tyson earlier. According to the makers, it promises to be a racy fast paced thriller with an intensive plot. The movie is set for a summer release and will be extensively shot in Karnataka and Kerala. It will be released in four languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
Talking about the film’s team, it also stars Achyut Kumar, Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, Anu Mohan, Nandhu in the pivotal roles. The music for the movie will be given by Poornachandra Tejaswi and cinematography will be done by Preetha Jayaram. National award winners Anees Nadodi (Production Design) and Poornima Ramaswamy (Costume Design) have also been roped in for the project.
Apart from Dhoomam, Hombale Films’ upcoming projects also include Salaar featuring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Besides that, they also have the film Yuva in the pipeline featuring Yuva Rajkumar, nephew of late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.
