1. India Today

Rating Score -> 3/5

But one of the best bits about Gaslight is the twist pe twist in the end. The film blooms in the last 15 minutes and we are not complaining because that is where all the unravelling happens in thrillers. All in all, Gaslight is a rather refreshing cooler in the sea of psycho thrillers. It surely deserves a watch.

2. NDTV

Rating Score -> 2/5

Sara Ali Khan’s Earnest Performance Is Uneven – Like The Film. Vikrant Massey, moving away from the persona of the clean-cut, easy-to-trust guy he usually plays, has a role that he can dig his teeth into.

3. Indian Express

Rating Score -> 1.5/5

Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey film becomes a drone much too soon. Sara Ali Khan, who really needs a role with substance, and Vikrant Massey who can usually be relied upon to get us to look, leave little impact in this film that fails to dial up the dread.

4. Rediff

Rating Score -> 2/5

At the centre of the storm is Sara Ali Khan, all surreptitious and subdued wearing her vulnerability on her sleeve. There’s an emotional fragility about her that makes us want to protect her at all costs from the other side of the screen. If only Gaslight wouldn’t make us feel stupid about it in the end.

5. News 18

Rating Score -> 2.5/5

Gaslight feels like the 70s and 80s thriller movie that has got a new-age makeover. Those who don’t watch the genre that often can give this movie a shot. It is a decent one-time watch.

6. DNA

Rating Score -> 2.5/5

Gaslight drags because of its rather slow pacing. A few jump scares here and there aisde, it does not keep you on the edge of your seat or even invests you in what the characters are going through. That means that by the time the climax arrives, you are on a predictable path. Still, the film does manage to surprise you with one final twist.
