Hadid understands how to accentuate her curves with anything from midriff-baring two-pieces to gowns with plunging necklines. In opulent traditional Indian clothing by luxury brand Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, supermodel Gigi Hadid attended the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre’s opening weekend festivities in Mumbai on Saturday. She has captured the hearts of her followers all over the world.
Gigi Hadid’s Chikankari saree features a side thigh-high slit and is embellished with large golden patti borders with taar, sequin, and bead embellishments as well as beautiful floral pattern embroidery and sparkling sequins. She added a jewel-encrusted blouse with gilded shoulders and a plunging neckline to the pre-draped outfit to complete the look.
Gigi accessorised the ensemble with ornate gold bracelets, statement rings, earrings, and killer high heels. Lastly, she chose a centre-parted sleek bun, nude lip shade, rouged cheekbones, matching eye shadow, contoured face, feathered brows, mascara on the lashes, and beaming highlighter for the glam picks.
For Day 1, Gigi wore a creation by Rahul Mishra, a hand-embroidered ‘Himachal’ trench paired with coordinating trousers and a bralette. Gigi wore was an intricately embroidered long jacket with matching flowy pants. The outfit had so many delicate details and was adorned with floral embroidery as well.
As per the designer, “The look aims to articulate a fantastical rendition of Rahul’s first-hand experience of a Himalayan spring. The dream finally emerges on the surface through elements that are meticulously imagined in threads, beads, sequins and other media. The embroidery on the full ensemble is realised over 2,400 human hours of time.”
