South Korean pop titans GOT7’s member Yugyeom announced his new single ‘Ponytail’ due out next week on January 2, 2023.

Ahead of the song’s release, the artist unveiled concept photos, which feature Yugyeom in an all-black avatar. ‘Ponytail’ will also be Yugyeom’s first solo release since his last collaboration with Coogie on ‘Take You Down’ in March.

Yugyeom took to Twitter on December 26 to make the surprise announcement, where he revealed that the single will be officially released next week on January 2 at 6pm KST.

The brand new single comes just a few days before Yugyeom heads off for AOMG’s ‘Follow The Movement 2023’ Asia tour, which will be docking in Singapore on January 8.

As NME notes, last month, Yugyeom’s label announced the Asian leg for its upcoming ‘Follow The Movement’ world tour, featuring a roster of artists like Loco, GRAY, Lee Hi and Simon Dominic alongside the GOT7 member.
