Harrison Ford starrer Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny from Disney is eyeing a premiere at Cannes festival. Ford’s previous entry also made its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008.

Dial of Destiny is expected to premiere on the second or third day (May 17 or 18) of the event. According to Collider, the festival has invited Disney’s Indiana Jones 5 for its premiere. Directed by James Mangold, the fifth movie in the series will take the world’s most famous archeologist on a journey related to his family.
Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones. Other cast members include Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen.
Directed by Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score.
The highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic franchise will open in theatres on June 30, 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
