South Korean actor Yoo Ah In, who is currently being investigated for the illegal use of propofol, has tested positive for marijuana. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, earlier this week, the police investigated Yoo Ah In for drug use immediately following his return to Korea from the US. As part of the investigation, the actor underwent both a urine test and a hair test. On February 10, the police officially announced that his urine’s sample had tested positive for marijuana use.

The results of his hair test are yet to be out. “We have not yet received a notice from the police about [his] drug test results,” his agency stated regarding the news of urine test results before adding, “Just like we said in our previous statement, we plan to proactively cooperate with all investigations.”
The report further shares that the police also performed a search and seizure of various doctor’s offices and clinics in Seoul’s Gangnam and Yongsan districts on February 8 and 9. The clinics were searched as they were suspected of providing propofol to Yoo Ah In since early 2021. Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In is currently being investigated for using substance Propofol, an anesthetic that is illegal in South Korea.
On the work front, the actor is best known for his roles in features like Secret Affair, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Six Flying Dragons, Fashion King, Burning and Hellbound.
